Understanding the Context
AQUAS consultants have the knowledge and experience required to operate in a multi-cultural and interconnected world. Their qualifications include multi-lingual proficiency, economic, policy, sociological and legislative expertise, among others.
At the US State Department program for Near East Asia, AQUAS developed and upgraded automated systems to support Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) programs. AQUAS documented M&E standard operating procedures and designed workflow diagrams used to validate the system navigation to comply with quarterly reporting in areas that included global health, education, democratization, gender inclusion and at-risk youth.
In Latin America, AQUAS has partnered with local actors in Colombia, El Salvador, and Ecuador, supporting mediation activities with indigenous populations in rural areas, and supporting engagement with small to medium enterprises to ensure economic growth. Likewise, AQUAS has deployed subject matter experts in Colombia to better understand the landscape in crop substitution programs that included education and awareness in gender issues and social justice.
